Rewind Repeat

H:Connect has invited the beloved South Korean singer actress, YoonA of Girls' Generation, to Singapore after her last visit 5 years ago with her members. She’s back this time to promote their new summer collection at Bugis Junction on 21 July, 2018.

Sones ( Girls' Generation fans) were really excited were really excited and filled with energy to meet YoonA after a long wait, and her cheery response to their enthusiasm of cheering. Many made their purchases prior to the event to be in line with YoonA’s fashion trend, and some lucky ones managed to meet their favourite artiste on stage as well. She picked out 3 outfits based on their individual style for 3 lucky fans, who had the opportunity to be Styled By YoonA, after which she went on to explain the concept of each of her choices. There was also an autograph session in which she participated with all smiles, initiating interactions including high-fives and interlocking fingers with some even luckier fans.

YoonA herself wore something simple and explained her concept for the day to be reflecting summer, as it is the constant season in Singapore. She chose an outfit that has vibrant colours and feels cooling for a hot summer day, like a sleeveless top. We all know that she loves to dress comfortably and look good in pants, however this time, she chose a skirt to show off a little of her feminine side, which was a perfect choice.

She then went on to expressed her happiness to be back here with the opportunity to meet all her fans, even mentioning that she hopes to be back with her “So_wonderful day #Story_1” fanmeet in Singapore. On top of that, she briefly shared her recent plans, being busy with her movie filming which just began, along with variety shows filming. Of course last but not least, her fanmeet tour is well underway, not forgetting to tell us to look forward future news. Talking about what she missed the most, it was definitely food. Given that she’s known for being the “shik shin” (God of Food) in her group, she mentioned that the No.1 food known for in Singapore is definitely our famous chilli crab. However, she has been showering the pepper crab with more love lately and even had it once she arrived in Singapore.

Lastly, the fans surprised YoonA with an event by holding pink balloons (the colour of Girls’ Generation fanclub) with the new Singapore ambassador printed on the balloon with words and also shouting “YoonA, we missed you” as a whole towards the end of the event, and to which she replied a “Me Too” with a wide smile. The H:Connect event then closed successfully with a group picture, with everyone alongside YoonA doing the H:Connect gesture, which was taught by her personally.
